This Weekend? is an initiative that is organised by BOSarts www.bosarts.org.

BOSarts is an artist-led partnership with the National Trust, based in Cornwall. The focus of BOSarts is on the production and presentation of socially engaged and collaborative work that is deeply embedded within the local context.

"One of the key tenets of BOSarts is to establish active and intimate, as well as sustainable, creative relationships with individuals and other structures and organisations" (Benjamin Chandler, artist and participant in recent BOSarts seminar).

BOSarts is keen to develop new opportunities for artists in Cornwall, and is committed to developing a programme of interaction and dialogue to support this work, building on the success of the 1st seminar in Sept 08 'The Artist as cultural agent: DIY (people, places and spaces)'.

From very recent beginnings, BOSarts has very quickly gained a regional and national profile, having worked with a number of artists from across the UK and being featured in the November edition of a-n.
