Veronica Vickery (Co-director BOSarts) is an artist, curator and project manager.
Veronica explores questions around how identity, culture and heritage are preserved and (re)presented, and how contemporary culture is framed by and also constructs the past. She is concerned with looking at ways in which visual arts processes can be used, to create a different narrative in which culture and heritage are not seen as products in the marketplace, but instead are living, dynamic, people filled narratives. It is a practice that is embedded in the local, in story, context and the every-day.
Currently Veronica is undertaking an MA in Fine Art (Contemporary Practice) at UCF. Her work can take many forms, depending on the context. Recently this has included relational work, digital media, temporary sculptural installation in the landscape and painting.
